So You Think "YOU" Can Dance

I have been totally addicted to this show. Here is a really awesome performance. Now I don't know if you would consider this dancing so to speak but it is just friggin cool as hell.

WOW, has it been a week since I have blogged

YUP! Geesh I need to blog more LOL... I was so bored yesterday I could have blogged instead of doing stupid stuff. I spent hours watching different versions of people dancing to thriller . This one is the funniest, just because it is prison I guess LOL



You might have thought for a moment what is a chick doing in a prison? Then you watched the whole thing and went Ohhhh??? LOL

If you want to see some kids who really can dance this one is awesome too! The best recreation I have watched this week LOL

Long Week

Though from the outside my house looks painfully unfinished I got so much done this week. Sigh. Two coats of paint on the lower half of the house. Now I just need help with all the high parts. Ladders and I don't really gel well. So I think someone else will be doing that.

I am very happy because the seeds I planted weeks ago are coming up. And to my surprise some things I planted last year re-seeded and are coming up. I can't wait to see how it all turns out. Another couple of weeks and it should be more visible. I am enjoying my garden so much this year. It is so exciting watching things grow and change every day. My lilies doubled in size over night. It is awesome. Now if I can keep those red beetles from eating them this year. I wasn't sure what they were called. I dusted them with Japanese beetle stuff. Turns out the beetles eating my lilies are called.....Red Lily Beetles. I probably should have known that LOL...I just read they are hard to kill and the best way to get rid of them is to pick them off the plants by hand and crush them. FUN! Gives me the shivers just thinking about it LOL...

Painting YUCK!

I hate having so much to paint, but the house is going to look awesome the colors that we picked. Jerry and I picked them out together. I have learned my lesson. I have painted every room in this house at least 3 times. The kitchen like 7 LOL...And until I actually picked out something with Jerry either one or the other has been unhappy with it. I know most guys don't really care about paint color, but I think because Jerry is so artistic color effects him. I know I am happy with the inside now. (Still have to repaint bedrooms this year. They have not been done for 3-4 years. :) Anyway here is a picture of the new paint colors.

So today I was suppose to do the "walk for the homeless" but it was cold and threatening to rain. I figured the walk was not as important as the donation I made and the raffle tickets I bought. They were giving away 3 big prizes two trips and a 42 inch plasma TV. I never win anything. Really. Last thing I won was back before Zack was born. (I don't even remember ever winning a few bucks on scratch tickets) Anyway I felt the 10 bucks was worth it for the homeless. At 12 this afternoon I got a call and was told that I won the 42 inch T.V. HOLY COW. Jerry went to go get it. It took a long time to get it set up too. It is huge. I feel happy that we got it. I also feel a little guilty cause we just bought a 36 inch LCD TV a couple months ago. For a while I debated whether we should try and return the 36 inch. Still not sure...and not sure that after this long they would take it back anyway. So it looks like I will have a 36 inch TV in my bedroom :)

On a much more boring note I have been reading a book Jerry bought about fengshui. So I set out this week to make some changes to the house. I bought tons of plants. Turns out they are good :) All I know is I really like the few changes we have made. To include the big ass used couch I found for 18 bucks at the salvation army. It is awesome. I had to scrub the shit out of it and clean it but wow is it cozy! Just the plants and moving the stuff I already had to the "right" places has changed my feelings about the house. I love it here. And I feel my luck has changed. You decide :)
