Just thought I would blog a little before Idol started. God I love that show. I think I like the first part of it the best. Maybe I have said this already LOL....That Truth show is on after Idol. God that show is crazy. Can't wait to find out if the guy really did gamble away his kids college funds LOL. I think maybe we all just feel better knowing there are other more "F'ed" up people out there than us. I KNOW I DO LOL............
Been doing some reading. Had to dig out the reading glasses. Funny how sometimes I need them and sometimes I don't. I think it just depends on how tired I am ... or my allergies. Who knows...Anyway...I am reading the new Stephen King book Duma Key. It is a good book. All 600 plus pages of it. I am more than half way through it. When I get in a reading jag I just want to keep going. Not sure what I will read next. Guess I gotta take a trip to Borders and find something good. I like horror and suspense. :)
We knocked out a few things on my list of stuff to do around here. My house should be coming together pretty good. I still have ton of stuff to do before my family gets here from Florida. My cousin is getting married March 1st so Mom and Gram and my Uncle will all be around for 5-6 days. Should be fun. .. ... Can you hear the sarcasm? Trust me it's there. Mom just called and said Dad has to have a tumor removed from his leg. Shouldn't be anything major, but she just wanted to keep me in the know. Hopefully it is just a whole lot of nothing. His lymph nodes are fine and he has no other growths. I will chalk it up to those things happen when you get older.
Well it's almost time for Idol...Time for some junk food and some fat pants LOL....Later~

American Idol Is Awesome
I have enjoyed the first few shows of american idol so much. I guess it is the twisted side of me that likes to see people fail miserably LOL.. Plus I am always amazed at the talent that comes in. Usually the people you least expect to be good are. The "Rather Portly" brother and sister duet that was on last night floored me. They were such freako's in the interview I really didn't expect them to be able to sing. They were actually quite good.
Telling the Truth???? Wow the show after american idol was intense. I would never put myself through that kind of torture for money. I don't know who watched it or not but the basics of it are they ask you 50 questions using a lie detector test...then you go on the show and they ask you 21 of those questions in front of your family, friends, and the nation. I wonder how many divorces this show is going to cause. The wife of the first contestant wouldn't even kiss him after he was done. Oooooowwwch! It was a train wreck, and you know I will be watching it every week LOL.
So, I have to go get some dirt on the whole Keith Ledger thing. I was floored when I heard he was dead. Now he wasn't on my "list" but he did have that cool accent and the nice looks. I wonder if Broke Back Mountain ruined his career. I know he was working on some project, but geesh. Any time someone dies at 28 it is just tragic. Especially if he did it to himself. So sad. People forget that celebrities are just people too under neath it all and have lots of problems. Well I guess that is all I have to say about that .... other than the people who plan to picked or boycott his funeral because he did that movie. Who ever you are...You are stupid. It was a movie..... !!!

Just another ordinary day
Today is pretty ordinary. Doing the same things I do on most Tuesdays. Get Zack off to school. Work a few hours. Have lunch with Jerry. Back home. Nothing major. I just feel pretty good today. It's hard to do when it is cold, but I have managed. The great thing is I don't have to do anything else today but make dinner YEAHHH! I don't mind doing that most nights. I always have the Lazy back up meal in a box stashed in the pantry if I change my mind. :)
Well, Like I said nothing planned so I don't have much to write about. Hopefully I will be more interesting tomorrow :)

Holy No Blogging
O.K. I have not blogged in so long it is just a damn shame :) I really think it is just that winter sucks and I don't have much to talk about other than I am just too damn cold. I totally entered the HGTV dream home giveaway. I would love to live in the "keys" I never win anything but wouldn't that just be something if I did LOL. If so you are all invited to have a massive party there :) Ahh what a great dream that is. I could use some sunshine that was not accompanied with below freezing weather!
So yesterday I was at my cousin's Bridal Shower. I have to admit it was pretty nice. (She gulps down a ping of jealousy) There is not one thing on her registry that she didn't get I swear. Thousands of dollars worth of stuff. I was overwhelmed. Of course my cousin has pretty expensive tastes and I figured that it was going to be a little pretentious. I mean I spent 40 bucks on her which is a lot for me. And the things I bought were on sale so if I paid full price (I never pay full price LOL) it would have been a 60 dollar gift...I felt like it was not good enough. She liked it though so I was glad. Jerry says I worry too much what people think about me. Perhaps I do. I don't have much family left up here just three or four people and I just don't seem to fit in with them. They are all perfect :) I am far from it. And I like myself that way. But it can be lonely.
BTW.........GO PATRIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOOOOOHOOOOOOO! Wish Jerry liked football then we could enjoy it together. He has tried to sit through a game but....If you don't like it you just don't. I almost feel like it is torture for him LOL....It would be like me sitting through his favorite movie :) (He knows what one I am talking about LOL)
