So I have renewed my music interest. Seeing someone excited about learning makes you realize why you started playing to begin with. Now I have to figure out where I am going to do this. I used to have the laundry room as my Haven, but we got cats and the litter box ended up in there. Looking around this tiny house I have to say aside from stealing Jerry's office away from him the laundry room is my only choice. I have new flooring to put down in there and I could paint it some cool color and maybe get it fixed up cool. Hide the washer and dryer. I am sure I will come up with something fabulously cheesy :)
Spent the day yesterday with my sister. It was nice to see her laughing and smiling for a change. I have missed that side of her. I know she will go up and down as this whole process goes along. Maybe I can get her back into playing bass. I'm getting old and running out of time to be in a band LOL....
Well, I think I might hit the WalMart and look for a rug for my "music" room and maybe some fabric for the walls or windows. :)

Guitar Lessons
I totally enjoyed my first guitar lesson that I gave the other day. I was digging around YouTube and saw this girl doing a version of When You Look Me In The Eyes. Which happens to be the song "we" Are learning. This chick is really good and I am going to try and pick up the "barr" chords she is using here. I have learned the song primarily with standard chords to begin with. Anyway if you look at the electric guitar in the background I am pretty sure it is almost identical to the one Jessie is getting. I thought it was cool.
Some Cool Stuff I Saw Today
So I was out today looking around and found these two really cool toys. One is a hand held version of guitar hero for 13 bucks and this really awesome air guitar thing for 26. I totally want to try out the air guitar thing. You put the belt buckle on and wave the pick in front of it to play the chords, which scream out of the little amp. Too CUTE!

Weird Day (cont. comments from Rick's blog)
I totally need to have my car going. I planned on doing it before Summer. It's needs a lot of stuff. Maybe about 800 bucks to get it going but much cheaper than buying a new one. My car was always much better on gas.
I am glad Zack is riding the bus. It was a goal that we were working on this year. He has come a long way in the last few years. Really now the only issues we have with his autism (Asperger's, kinda grouped with autism but some people think it is completely different) is his reading and writing. He used to have panic attacks about the bus, or me being at work and not knowing where I was. It's been a lot of work. I think having Jerry home this last year has really helped us get a good schedule going and it makes it so nice for Zackie. I feel pretty confident that he will be able to ride the bus home next year and be home for a while by himself so I can work a little more. Not sure he would get ready in the morning by himself very well. We have a schedule and he knows it but still doesn't do it without being pushed along. :) We still almost miss the bus several times a week.

Not Bad For Monday
Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!!!
I started out in green but had to change. I have been cleaning my messy house all day. Though it might still be hard to see the dent I put in it. I can smell the clean. I like cleaning on Monday's. Then I don't feel like such a lazy ass the rest of the week. I do intend to be a lazy butt for the rest of the day today. Once I finish dinner I have a book with my name on it. I got a couple of Stephen King books the other day for 8 bucks each. Not bad for 30 dollar hard cover versions. I want to start my collection. I got Cell. Which after 75 pages is turning out to be pretty cool. A little freaky since it is kinda about the end of the world brought on by Cell Phones. ( I am not sure how yet because I have not got that far.) If I were in that book I would totally be dead already. Because I would have answered my cell phone and gone nuts like everyone else. Can you imagine the only people on earth being left are the ones who don't have cell phones??? Not sure it is the ideal weeding method LOL.....All the cool people would be dead.

Spring Is On The Way
A lot of people ask what is my favorite season. I never know really what to say. I try to find something I like about all of them. Beautiful White winter snow storm, A Spring day, Summer swimming and BBQ's, Fall the smell of the leaves and harvest time. So what is my favorite Month? That is a better question I think. MAY!!! In Maine May can be awesome. Those few weeks before the black flies hatch. When all the flowers are peaking out of my garden ready to grow for the season. Time to plant annuals, cool mornings melting into perfectly warm days. That is my favorite thing. I do most of my gardening work in May and then just sit back and see how it all turns out. I have lots of Ideas to perfect my garden. That is where you are going to find me toiling away as soon as the snow melts. I sure look forward to it. Spring is just a few days away and St. Patrick's day is tomorrow. I am excited to break out of winters hold. :)

Didn't win the powerball Damn IT!
I totally wanted to win the Powerball I am so bummed out LOL It's OK no one won so I still have a chance. Wish me luck.
It's been a good week. Got to work at the office a couple of days. Honestly being home makes me nuts and I don't know how I did it for so very long. I am working at home tomorrow which is cool. My goal is to work 3 days a week and one of them be at home. That gets me out of here a little, but also gives me time to do the all so important things like laundry and dishes. YEAH!
So if you are wondering where I have been I would have to say recovering from the 5 days my family was here and the wedding that went on an on. Dealing with my family is difficult to say the least. My sister said she was thinking about moving to Florida...Of course if she does I have to go. BUT to tell the truth I don't think it is what I want to do right now at this point in my life. As much as I would love the warmth I just can't see me being immersed in my family again. I keep to myself a lot. Not much of a party animal. Sometimes I like to draw or read. That would make my Mom nuts. She would harass me constantly to party with her. As it is she asked me 5 times if I wanted a drink at the wedding not believing that I could honestly be OK without one. For the record I have not had a drink since November 18th or so. It's not because I have a problem with drinking. Or that I don't want other's to drink. I am just tired of puking every time I do. It ruins my whole day afterwards whether I drink 3 or 33 :) Not point. Anyway. I made it through the family visit without one so I know I can do it :)
Well, I am off to figure out what I can do to make pork chops fabulous! Wish Me Luck!

Look I'm skinny
This is me at my cousin's wedding. Stretched the picture a little and I lost 15-20 pounds ROFLMAO of course my head is not right LOL...Anyway it was a long wedding. Maybe they tried to make it too perfect and it just ending up being too boring. They didn't even cut the cake until 9. It took a while. :)
