No Party but...

I guess I probably wont have a party. That is fine. Jerry is on day 6 of no smoking!!! He said he wasn't sure he could handle the socialization right now anyway. He also mentioned that Rick had asked what we were doing on New Years...If we were supposed to go to your house Rick I'm sorry...I didn't know. ... ... :) Jerry forgets to tell me stuff like that sometimes. Any way.......I am so proud of Jerry. He went 7 years with out smoking before taking it back up again a couple of years ago. It's a hard thing for him to quit. I don't exactly under stand the addiction since I just do it sometimes and I don't think much about it. He literally "needs" to do it and I think that sucks so I am glad that he is trying to get that weight off of him. There is a lot of heart disease history in his family tree and I want him around to be old and crabby with me some day. SO, him quitting is one of the best Christmas presents I have gotten.

OK...A little sappy this morning but........

Hope everyone has a good new years. I have not made any resolutions yet. For a while I thought I would resolve to loose weight...I think though I will resolve to be healthy. I have good insurance now and I have made an appointment to see a "real" Doctor not a PA or nurse. So I am hoping that 2009 is the year that Jerry and I get healthy. Not sure if the exercise thing sounds good but I will think about it. I am notorious for thinking something sounds great and then I just loose interest...Like exercising. Or eating good....I always end up sitting on my ass with a McDonalds Hamburger in hand :)

Well Off to hit Sams club and get tires for the Volvo and maybe some other good deals.

New Years Eve

So I was thinking since Jerry is on vacation and I actually have the time to come up with something I would like to have a new years eve party. I really should have thought about this sooner I know because I am sure most people are going to have plans...BUT...If you are interested in coming over I can set up the dart board...Or snag a couple new games....I was thinking of getting some really awesome food like bacon wrapped scallops and maybe some other fancy smancy things....Anyone who reads this is invited...Just let me know so I can hook you up with some food and drink that you like! :)

On a lighter note...We had a very nice Christmas. It was quiet...We didn't get the big family parties we are used to. The twins are in NJ....Jerry's sister never showed up for Christmas so we didn't get to see her. It was kinda weird.....BUT as far as the three of us went we had a wonderful night. Just playing with toys and having some yummy food. Zack got a nice guitar. I found a Dean Markley guitar 50% off on line!! I am not sure how he feels about it. He has played it but not really around me. I told him he could take lessons from one of the guys at Northern Kingdom music. I want him to love it...not be intimidated by me. The twins got guitars too....They want me to teach them to play. Santa had a fun time getting guitars this year....I don't know who was more excited...me or the kids....

I'm a child at heart and scored some crayons and a doll...Also a really groovy converse scarf that matches my sneakers....I didn't really want anything this year...I already got so many things I wanted...There's not much to buy. I got Jerry a t-shirt and his owe laser pen like we were all playing with last christmas....Also I got him 3 of the leather journals that he likes to write in. Other than that everything else was for the kiddo....He was totally blown away this year...I love those years....He got everthing he wanted...He was almost embarressed by it. He's a good kid....

Well I am off the hit the walmart....I need to get some stuff but have been putting it off since it's just crazy out there... ....

Christmas Party Whhoooo Hooooo

So I stopped vomiting around 1 this afternoon. I had a totally awesome time but I think I could have done without the shots of Yagger......Naw....Now that I feel better I think it was totally worth it. Last night was so absolutely crazy....Words just don't even begin to break it down. So hopefully my pictures with shed some light on it. I would have posted these sooner but I have been frigging around with this slide show thingy...I have no damn idea what I am doing....Nothing new there LOL... Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!

The Best Gift You Ever Got

Not to be confused with your favorite Christmas because I think those are two different things.....





I was just thinking back on what had to be my favorite Christmas present. See this year Santa is getting Zack a Nice Dean Electric guitar in cobalt blue his favorite color...It reminded me of my favorite Christmas present. A bubble gum pink Bentley Series 10 guitar I got when I was 14. I slept with that thing. My parents didn't have the internet to go online and look for close out prices on guitars...So this guitar was pretty inexpensive...Relatively speaking...I still think it cost them over 150 dollars...Pretty steep to take a chance on...I am so glad they did. I have had my faults with them from time to time...and I have always had a hard time sharing my music with them...but if they didn't believe in me I would be missing out on a very big part of my life. I am so glad that I have typed this out...I see how much of a gift it really was for them to give...(ok now I have tears in my eyes...I swear I am so hormonal this Christmas LOL....) The cool thing is that I get to share that gift with other people now...You know the second best gift was an acoustic guitar...I still have that one..it cost more than my car did at the time...An Applause by Ovation...I named it Tiger Lily and Jerry keeps it safe. I traded it with him and he bought me the beautiful purple Ibanez I have now. Geesh I feel pretty spoiled...I think I'll do the "spoiled rotten" dance around the house today and sing some old 80's ballads LOL....

WhooooHooo it's Friday!

Granted there was a snow day which means my house was packed to the ceiling with kids....Tiny house lots of kids...Apparently it equals a whole roll of scotch tape wrapped around my stair rail ????? Still not sure what the plan was there for them...all I know is they were really damn quiet for like an hour...was the dollar worth of scotch tape worth it? Hell Ya!!!! Not sure why I don't mind having kids here all the time...I am a very crabby person usually...but it just seems better with more kids...The only down fall to lots of kids ... would be FEEDING lots of them....Even when you go cheap it still is crazy ! They were easy on me today though with the food...Chips and Salsa ... Noodles...And lots of water....They never asked for much...I am surprised....It was a pretty good day ! I am ready for a nap though...I colored...I made christmassy things...I even tried to do some beads and wire kinda ornaments until I said...NO it's not going to happen...It is not my skill to wrap beads and wire together...You have to know your limitations...I think I will give those kits to Zack to do since he is better at that kinda thing than I.

Tomorrow I am having breakfast with my Aunt and Cousin...then trying to get some groceries bought...Then...VEDGE OUT MOVIE NIGHT! I love those! Sunday is the Andersen Christmas party...Now in the past I have been to Wakes that have surpassed the Andersen's Christmas parties when it comes to fun. SO...I have a plan...Number one I am bringing Lasagna which is my favorite food so that at least I have that...Number two...always park behind the person that you like the best at the party...that way that son of a bitch doesn't get to leave without you leaving too! You need to have a plan really :)

Well I am off to fill my tub with some bubbles YEAH! Zack and his buddy are playing Sonic..That game makes me motion sick so I am going to go hide until Jerry gets home. Have a good weekend everyone!!!!!

I am no longer a slave to Vista! Free at last thank God Almighty I am free at least! I was really getting tired of fatal error and the whole wiping out of everything I have twice....It's nice...I even have rhapsody back. I haven't had it longer than I did have it LOL...Jerry's awesome. Of course he has been rebuilding computers all weekend. His, Mine, The House computer, His Brothers.....He's a little burned out on that kinda stuff :) Don't let him fool you though...he was itchin to get to this laptop and change it to XP for me. :)

So Zackie has a sinus infections...He's been sick for over a week. I guess it's going around. I know Carrie and Kelli are not feeling so well either...so on that note...I am off to give out some tylenol and make everyone rest and drink their juice...If you are sick out there...get some rest too...the Christmas party in coming up fast!

MMMMMMmmmmmm Icing On the Cake....Bubble Bath, Body Spray, Lotion, it smells like frosting and cake...Who doesn't want to smell like baked goods...I picked this up at WalMart. Just don't get caught smelling yourself :)

OK this makes my man smell AWESOME! This scent I like the best! I don't even know what to say about it without blushing...but I spray this sometimes just to smell it.

Splat....The lady at Rite Aid admitted they keep t his in stock just for me... :) Someday I will out grow my obsession with blue hair....Not sure when...I bet in the nursing home.. :)

Blue All Stars that match my hair....What is not to love about these. I had pink ones in the 80's...Black in the 90's and now...Blue for the twenty-aughts.

My Twilight collection...It just appeals to my inner teenager. I enjoyed these books maybe a little too much...I am also inspired by an author who was just a Mom of three then spewed out these books and made a fortune....Who wouldn't want to do that???

And Last but not least...all my new electronics and gadgets...I have never been a gadget person...but I have to say I am grooving on my new laptop...The new Juke side flip phone, my sansa clip and not pictured my FUJIFILM 10.1 megapixel camera...which I think I have used the most of any. Taking up an interest in photos...I will never be a great photographer but I luck into a few good shots every now and again.

So I can't wait to see everyone else list....I don't care what it is. I'd love to hear about the latest camera lenses, Video game, or gun thingy...!!!

The Holidays........

I LOVE THEM...I have my tree up...I have presents wrapped.....I listen to Christmas Carols....It's going good.....

Then.....BRICK WALL....A member of My family calls me up and gives me hell for not calling my mother enough. I get read the riot act until I'm turning purple and tears are running down my cheeks....Merry Christmas...After a couple days I have cooled down...And I am doing things just the same way I had planned...AND if not calling enough is all they have to bitch about when it comes to me then HEY...whatever right. It always has to be something......I try not to let anyone ruin my Christmas Spirit. They have come close in the past...Whoa have they ever...Using my kids toys for ashtrays while we were asleep and they were up drinking...That one just about did me in...BUT now they are all in another state and I can do things the way I want to...I'm happy for that. Maybe that makes me a bad person...but I don't think it does...Christmas is for My Son and for the other kids in my family. It's going to be a little magical this year...Because this year of all years we all need it that way. So...Thank you for listening to my rant...AND Bless you and your family I hope that you get to have the Christmas that you want to have. I know I always set my sights too high...Like Chevy Chase in Christmas Vacation and I end up with a Randy Quaid in a RV parked in the driveway dumping sewage into the storm drain...LOL...BUT hell that stuff is part of it too!

On another note...Our car died last night...We tried to go on a recon...mission to jump the battery and get it home...We jumped in our uninspected, uninsured, unregisted truck with the bad brakes and drove to the Old gas station across from Irving where the car died and tried to jump it under cover of the night...So you know a cop had to show up and ask if we were OK...I just smiled and said we'll get a tow truck if we can't get it jumped and he was all nice and said oh just leave it there if you can't it's fine tonight...I was trying not to piss my pants since I probably could have gotten 3 or more defect tickets on that truck if he wanted to be a prick... :) SO MERRY CHRISTMAS...and we did get the car home...It was hard work...Guess the alternator belt broke so the batter wouldn't hold a charge...Go figure...200,000 miles on a car...It should run like new right LOL...

So I had to get out this morning and hit the Best Buy! You may be asking why there are two CD's....Well once I got there I couldn't NOT get one for Rick...so I gave him a call to make sure he indeed did want one..He said Hell YA! So here they are. I would like to say that it's been eating me up inside all day because I haven't opened it up and given it a listen....BUT that would be a lie...plus knowing my husband there will be some sacred ritual involved in the listening to of this CD......

On a more cool note I also picked up the Three Days Grace video Concert. I am also waiting to watch that. I was going to put it in after I picked up the kids then felt perhaps there would be some swearing etc. that they didn't need to hear...

Well I am off to see if I can find something productive to do....

Hangs Her Head In Shame

O.K. Twilight..........SUCKED!

Not because the books were so good you just couldn't replicate it on the big screen. Or because no one is good enough to be Edward or Bella......NOPE! It SUCKED because one it was not the same story in the book...Some parts are but not much....and TWO not since Lost Boys 2 have I seen such bad acting. I mean painfully bad. I wanted to get up and leave 10 minutes into the movie. I tried to like it...I tried...I feel like the movie sucked so bad that no one will want to read the books. All I have to say is...READ THE BOOKS...they are a good read. As for the movie...don't waste 2 hours of your life that way.............

It's been a really long week. BUSY...Long...Crazy week. I totally look forward to some slow down time. We will see how that goes.

Dead Ass Tired

That title doesn't sound good LOL....

SO, my sister is now moved into her own place. Took two days of moving and putting things together. She is settling in. Jerry and I are achy and feeling crappy after being out in the rain lugging heavy shit for days. Jerry got the worst of it since he had to move the 3 ton Hide-a-bed couch she has. If she moves again that couch is going out in pieces ...

Wouldn't you know it...her little brat dogs are so happy there that they don't hardly bark and they haven't peed or pooped on "her" carpet. JOY! Truth be told I liked the tiny one...But I am so glad they are gone. It is so quiet here today. It took me most of the day today to clean up the wreckage.

My animals are not any better. The cat is dying or something...he pukes about 4 times a day I swear to God...and my dog has found some foul smelling slimy black crap outside to roll in and I don't know how to get the smell off of her. I am beginning to hate animals.

I sure look forward to getting life back to normal if that is really such a thing!

Well I am off to pick Jerry up at work. He has a cold and he is sore and miserable. Poor guy.

Pee

I knew that would get your attention...That is the answer to "what have you been up to all week?'' Up to my neck in Dog piss. My sister's dog has issues LOL...I did get to buy myself a new carpet steam cleaner. It rocks. I have used it twice and have been very grossed out by the color of the water. I had an older one that I used to use. The water never came out that color. I guess I bought me a good one LOL....

Other than pee we have been trying to get my car ready for inspection. We knew when we bought it that we needed to put tires and an exhaust on. They carry all the parts at NAPA which rocks...Just I bought 4 out of the 5 pieces because one piece was perfectly good. Of course that is the piece that Jerry accidentally breaks when he is trying to put it all together. And you only break something like that on a Sunday at 3 in the afternoon... LOL So He is out grinding away on it right now trying to get it done before work. He's almost done. I really should be out there making sure he doesn't cut off a finger with that grinder....BUT...I don't want to witness it if it happens. As long as I hear the grinder going I know he is OK LOL

We had a nice family weekend. Just me and the boys. It's been a while since we could just all hang out and watch movies. My boy is taller than me now. He's growing so fast. Sometimes it blows my mind and I want to just say CUT IT OUT! It's hard going through these times and I know it will only get worse. He gets so moody. That's how I know he's my kid LOL...I was a moody teenager and I have been told by a few people I can be a bit moody for an adult...(Hmmm...Yeah I guess) LOL..So I am getting a taste of my own medicine. I love him to pieces and I hate to see him feel weird but it is what has to happen.

Well, the grinder stopped so I am going to check on Jerry.

AND remember November 21st Twilight comes out. Not sure I am going to battle every 12-18 year old goth girl in the greater bangor area to see the movie the day it comes out.....Maybe??? LOL

So for the winner of the best costume I have a mini bar set which includes Seven, Crown, Midori, Baileys, Kahlua, Tanqueray, and Malibu Rum. There will also be some other Bar related goodies in there! Jerry and I have some kick ass costumes....SO...I hope everyone comes up with something. :)

I am making cheese dip with crackers and pretzels, also some peanut butter brownies for Colleen....I have made her wait long enough :) Let's see I will come up with some more stuff as I go. Also I have to go into the closet of Doom to retrieve decorations so if I don't show up on Saturday come get me I am lost in a parallel universe!

Halloween PARTY???? ANYone??

So I was talking to Colleen and we decided we needed to party Saturday. We shall call it a Halloween party because it legitimizes it somehow LOL......I have decorations! Yeah! So I think we are planning to do this at Rick and Colleens house since they have the room. I would say they have a few less dogs in their house than I do but.....ROFLMAO I have two little ones here along with Karma and it's constant barking and peeing LOL... I will talk with Jerry and make the final plans tonight then details to follow tomorrow. Colleen didn't think anyone would wear a costume.............I must come up with a prize that will entice even the most reserved come up with something.... :)

You Know You're A Freak When.......

So I was checking out at a store recently and this little kid about 5 comes running at me. He is so excited it just makes me laugh. He's dressed up in his halloween costume which is a Dr. covered in blood. He couldn't have been more than 5-6 years old. He goes..."Do you like "MY" costume?" I added the bloody nose and stuff cause it was cool HUH?" And I look at him and say "Yep it's pretty gruesome dude I love it." I happen to catch his mothers wide eyes staring at me. The kid satisfied with my answer goes running off to his mother and I can hear their conversation which ends with the mother going "No honey that's not a costume she looks like that all the time......."

Yep....That pretty much means I'm a freak!

Freakin' Lost!

Yep I drove to NH to spend a couple days with Jerry while Zack is on his school trip. I had an awesome time. Stopped everywhere along the way and took my time. UNTIL...the directions led me astray and I just about lost it. I crossed the NH to ME bridge 4 times! I guess all I have to say is it is best to know what exit two you are going to be taking...the one in Maine or the one in F**king NH! BTW it's the one in NH that works best if you are headed to Manchester! So after a consult with Jerry and him pretty much calming me down from hysteria I made it here! Now I am off to have dinner with Jerry and maybe....talk him into some fun stuff.

System failure & Shopping

Where have I been all week? Well lets just say that Jerry spent all night fixing my computer again. I just got my new hard drive installed last weekend and then when loading on rhapsody I had to reboot to load updates and that was is. Black screen of doom! So I had a good cry because I have had this computer for 7 weeks! That's it !!! WTF??? I haven't had time to load hundreds of useless programs that will cause it to crash. I have barely used it. Since I lost everything I had on it the first time I haven't really trusted it fully to do stuff on. So loosing everything a second time was not as devastating. HOPEFULLY (Knock on composite wood product known as my desk) It will run great now.

So I spent the whole day shopping with my friend Karen. It was a ton of fun. I haven't done something like that for a long time. We hit the Christmas Tree Shop in August (LOVE IT THERE!!!!!!) and then shopped all around August and Waterville. The plan was to hit Portland but we decided to stay closer so we could get more shopping in. I think I need to do more stuff like that. I always worry about doing things with people since I never know what to talk about and get a little nervous, but Karen and I have known each other since 7th grade so it was really easy to talk. I got some really adorable stuff for Christmas decorating. I am going to do snowmen this year! I used to have a big collection but I sold it all when I was going to move. Not this time I am keeping it. I found some great figures and some painted canvases. I am totally going back there next month and getting more stuff. It's worth the drive...especially if you hit Panera's for lunch which is one of my favorite places. (My mom takes me there in Florida when I am there) So it was a great day. I almost forgot about the fact that I was 35 LOL....I'm OVER IT! :) The lady who thought I was lying about my age when she cut my hair made me feel like a million bucks so God Bless her for pulling out of my funk!

Well I am off to clean and pack and shit for our busy week. Jerry is away in NH for a week, Zack is off to SEA camping trip for school 3 days and I am going to join Jerry for a few days in NH. SO No guitar lessons until after Thursday :)

Why Do Birthdays Have to Happen?

Remember when you were a kid and all excited that you were going to get older and all that. Wish I had woke up this morning feeling that way. Honestly it's basically just an ordinary day for me. Jerry had to work and Zack is off from school. I even taught a guitar lesson. Guess I am feeling kinda crappy about being older. Everyone had planned stuff this weekend so I didn't do a party or anything...AND I am still a little sick. ARGHHHHH!

I had my second guitar lesson with my friend Karen's son. He's a cute little kiddo. I almost feel guilty charging for lessons because I have a good time too. Some day though I would love to do it for a job. Jerry got me a metronome for my birthday...Really he got me 3 LOL...A couple digital ones and a really awesome old fashioned one that ticks so pretty like a nice clock. I have always wanted one like that. It is nice when you are trying to tech rhythm. I guess he also go me a music stand which I have wanted for a gajillion years too. Can't wait to have that. It will be nice not to have to read stuff I have throw on the floor.

Well, I don't know what is going on for dinner. I don't feel like cooking. My kitchen is so damn clean right now it seems a shame to mess it up. We've done take out though a couple of nights already. Can't decide though.

I have liked Twisted Roots since I was a sophomore in high school. It's funny seeing them all old and stuff. BUT Hey I am all old and stuff now too LOL....

The character in Twilight those books I am reading drives a silver volvo...of course his is new and mine is older then dirt! :)

Halloween Party?

So Saturday Nicole mentioned the fact that someone should throw a Halloween party this year. Halloween is on a Friday so it would have to be the day after. SOOOO I was wondering if I threw a party would people show up. I have one every year with my sister...and only 1 out of 5 people who say they will be there actually show up. I would love to have one this year at my house.....If you honestly would come then let me know because I will throw it. Or I have the decorations (BOY DO I HAVE DECORATIONS) if someone wants to have one but needs those. Just let me know :)

Mobile and on the run

Jerry hooked up our wireless connection last night. I have to say I feel pretty darn technological to be sitting in the livingroom and be on the internet at the same time. It really makes having a laptop super COOL! I am a simple person though. It doesn't take much to Awe me :)

I still think Vista is a pain, but I am learning to deal with it and how to get my stuff to work with it. I don't have lots of junk on my computer just word processing, music and internet. Those are really the only things I need. So, that makes it easier. If I was trying to run lots of different things then I bet I would have more issues than I do.

Two weeks and counting until my sister moves in. We are just about done most of our remodeling that we started 4 years ago. I think the only two things that will not get done are the ceiling getting painted and the exterior of the house getting finished. Now it is half painted out there. Things happen and you run out of time. I hate the rednecky feel of a half painted house but...We have the paint and it will get done eventually. WE got so much done the last 3 weeks that I am so happy with how my house is coming out. OH I forgot about the bathroom. I still have stuff to do in there. We will deal with that once we have the cash to put down the tile board for the floor. So I guess I have a lot to do still but I actually have faith that it is going to get done.

Well I am off to do a little writing perhaps...If not just veg in front of the tele!

Getting Stuff Done

Things have been kind of on the boring side around here blog wise. It's hard to expect people to be excited over "my" new floor and the shelves we are building...or the baseboards I now have. Jerry has been building or working on something everyday around here. Who knows maybe after 4 years of remodeling there might be an end in sight. I really need to go dig up some pictures of my house before we started to tear it apart. It was Awful.

Over all I am glad that we tore out all the walls and made it one big open room instead of 5 small rooms. Glad that the ceiling came down and insulation went in the walls. It was COLD here the first few years. The only thing that sucks is that once you start there are so many messed up things to take care of and next thing you know you spent tons of money on stuff you never planned to. Like rewiring the whole house...or having to put a support beam through the middle of your house because nothing was holding the upstairs there but the plastered ceiling. Lets not forget the widows that fell out when Jerry leaned on them....and my fav the pipes in the creepy old basement bursting at 3 in the morning when I was here by myself, because no one soldered them together. Yeap yeap yeap...fun stuff.

It's looking good now and just in time for my sister to move in ... It is going to be in a couple of weeks. I am hoping to have some help with that one. We will see. She is putting most of her stuff into a storage unit so there is that.

Well I am off to watch some riveting TV. Jerry will be home in an half and hour. He said he might get his computer running either tonight or tomorrow so we can all expect a blog soon. He is in the dog house for going over his Text Message plan. He is worse than a teenage girl I swear. I had 250 and I only used 115. He had 500 and he ran through those and then some. I know that I have to live with Vista since I just plain have no choice but I don't have to like it. Surounded By Sick People

Zack was out sick for two days of school this week and now Jerry is sick. His brother who was here helping work on the floor last week had the cold first and I guess it is pretty easy to catch. I personally will pass on the getting of a cold. I don't want it. It's hard not to get sick. I am after Zack to cover his mouth when he coughs or sneezes but he is not doing a good job !!

Jerry tried to do some work around here this morning while I was out getting some things at walmart. By the time I got home he was sitting outside on the step he build all pale and ashen looking. So he went in a took a little snooze. Right now he is having a totty and then going to bed. Poor guy. He has a bit of a fever and he sounds like shit.

Hopefully he will be doing better tomorrow.

Learning Bout Stuff!

So going legal with the whole music thing proved to be a little more challenging...but I did find a cute and cheap little MP3 player that was made to work with Rhapsody! Only 33 bucks! I like IT! I plan on getting Jerry one of the better models since he like to keep jpgs and mp3's etc on his. Something with a screen for him. BUT for me this one is awesome. AND I do Love Rhapsody. I have wanted to do it since Colleen joined but have been on the fence about it.

I learned though never just put the headphones in your ears after you have cranked your mp3 player in the car...WHAT???? I CAN"T HEAR WHAT YOU SAID! I THINK I BLEW AN EARDRUM :) LOL Screw it Godsmack did more damage...Ironically it was a Godsmack song that blasted my ears...and brain...and skull LOL

Well, I am off to pick Jerry up in a little bit. He is working 12-8 now. Eventually it will be 11-8. I guess his training didnt take long and he had to share a computer with the day shift manager so it was getting unproductive to have him work 9-5 :) I don't mind the 12-8 thing. It's nice to have him home in the mornings.

My New Computer...My New Outlook On Life

O.K. I do like stuff. Usually clothes, shoes, simple things...technology has never been my big thing...BUT let me tell you having my very own brand new laptop...WOW is it friggin' cool. I am usually very happy with the "frankinputer" that Jerry rigs up for me....and let's face it he does a damn good job...I have to say though there is just something great about my "own" thing though...AND it's PINK!!!! of course right LOL....

So what is my new outlook? Well I joined rhapsody...I don't know how they treat the artist that have music there, but it's all legal and stuff so I feel better about it. The only issue now is......I NEED a new MP3 player to use it. Turns out my 4 year old 40 dollar cheapy thing is not supported....GO FIGURE! I am thinking of getting a sandisk clip. That's the cheapest thing Rhapsody recommends. If they have the pink version at Walmart tomorrow when I get groceries I will pick one of those puppies up too....

AND get this...I think I want a camera. Jury is still out on that one but I am letting Zack's childhood slip away without any documentation :)

Back To The Grind

Zack and Jerry headed back to work and school on Tuesday. My boss didn't need me to come back to work until Thursday. I thought Whoo Hoo...Not like I have worked much all summer LOL....BUT now I have to go back. And it should be a long and crazy day for me. Oh well the money will be nice. I have missed having my own cash.

I am feeling much better today. I did some writing and I was going to do some more cleaning around here but I just got tired. I don't know if it's allergies or what but I always feel run down this time of year. Damn rag weed...and golden rod.... :)

The pool is drained and ready to clean and put away for the season. It is a little sad....BUT at the same time the Mum's are in bloom and I loves me some fall. Even if it means I am getting a year older in October. I will live with it. :) I have thought I was 35 all damn year anyway...so I actually am younger than I thought. I know I am a total flake LOL.

All I know if I promised her a few things.........One that she always has a place to live as long as I do.......AND two that I can come up with enough friends to help her get some of her stuff moved over here. So I am putting out that request now in hopes that in 3-4 weeks I might get some help there....(I will make food)

It sucks that I am doing good and she took a job at a pet store cleaning up shit for 4 hours straight.

Blog Slacking

First Day Of School tomorrow. Sigh.....I know that technically Zack should be going into 7th grade and I should already be over the whole Jr. High thing.....BUT I am not. He has grown 3 inches taller over the summer, and it seems like time is starting to speed up! I get that achy feeling in my gut thinking about the fact that he was a baby LIKE YESTERDAY :) 6 more years and he is voting.

I was looking at the pictures of Jessie from her shopping trip...She looks way too all grown up too. I am looking forward to Zack's stories of how she made him give her 5 or chased him down in the hall. He turns 8 shades of purple whenever he has to even say her name LOL...Boys are very dorky that way. I am embarrassed for them sometimes. Zack's buddy Tristan gets all "cooled" out whenever the twins come over. It's really QUEER but I love it.

Jerry starts his new job tomorrow. I am nervous and excited. He has some snazzy new clothes and a haircut. Ready for management. I'm proud of him. He has deserved a job like this for a while. He works so damn hard. I know how hard it was for him to leave Hartt. Sometimes though you have to go where you have a chance of bettering yourself. AND he hit the dead end once his old manager resigned. :)

I don't have to work until Thursday. SO, I was worried I would have nothing to do...BUT my sister is going to be staying with me for a while after her house sells...I need to create a place for her to sleep LOL...lots of cleaning and painting this month....I even am getting a jacuzi tub...new "pergo like" floors in the kitchen and tile floors for my bath...The house is going to be awesome. I am so excited when we work on it. I have lots of stuff sitting here just waiting to go in. Whoo Hoo..Jerry's brother is going to help him Saturday to put the floor down. I still need to get the outside of my house painted...I have till snow fall to deal with that LOL...

RAIN all summer! This is crazy. No one has been in my pool for weeks! I haven't been in my garden for weeks....There is just nothing to do to entertain the kiddo but sit in front of the Tele and veg! This results in me putting on 5 pounds of popcorn and junkfood weight :) It has been a crappy summer....and I know that once the kids are back in school the weather will get so awesome...because that is how Maine is LOL...

Rain..........Vacation...........Hmmmmmmmm

I am sure you read Jerry's blog so you know the movie sucked! He summed it up pretty good! I guess I am trying to see the bright side of things...Like....It is going to rain every god damn day of our vacation........So what is the bright side? We were going to spend the week camping in Phippsburg...and go to the water park etc. I don't LOVE camping...and cold, wet, boring camping would have done me in. SO we are blowing our cash on other stuff. Today I am not sure what the plan is. Probably not seeing a movie LOL...(Just so you know though the cheap seats on the Odlin Road have nicer theaters than #8 at hoyets..) We might see the Hulk there on Tuesday $ movie day!

FLEAS!!! I am on my 3 attempt to rid this house of fleas! I have a new flea med pack for the dog and cats. I need to pick up some more spray for the carpet. The stuff I got for the animals is supposed to be one of the better ones. I hope so ... The lady at Petco said it has been a bad year for everyone because of the fleas...It didn't get cold enough to kill them off....I think Hmmmmmmmmm.....Do I want it cold enough to kill off the fleas? Are the flea meds going to cost me 3500 dollars for oil this year??? :) LOL... I know I am way to Glitzy with my humor LOL...

Yesterday started at 7:30...Up..showered...Scrambling around like idiots...Then on a bus to the Hartt company picnic. TODAY...We are going to see a movie. Our goal this vacation is to do something fun every day. I am pretty excited. We have a good list going....Including seeing movies, going to the ocean, mini golf, bowling, etc.... I am still trying to decide what I want to do on Friday...It's our anniversary and my sister is taking Zack for the night.

The anniversary thing is cool and freaky. Jerry and I started seeing each other when I was 16. That means lucky ol' Jer...has spent 18 wonderful years with me :) and has been married to me for 16...When you have been married as long...as the age you were when you met...that all starts to make you feel old as hell...And each year it will just get worse LOL... Anyway through all the ups and downs and moving around...fights and make-ups...I'm glad we have stuck together..no one makes me laugh like him... :)

A Night At The Movies

So I went stupid crazy creating a "movie Theater" For us, and it came out damn good. I still have some finishing touches to add but over all it's coming along. I think we are going to have a "Movie Night" party. I am not sure if that sounds cool to anyone, but I think it would be awesome to pick a totally awesome movie to watch and have a few drinks and lots of snacks! What does everyone think?

Swimmin'

I actually got in the pool today. I have to call the water "brisk" It hurt at first...but once I was in it was not too bad. (Just like sex the first time LOL) Anyway I had a friend of Zack's here and the twins. It was a lot of fun. I wish the girls were going to be here all summer. It was hard to say good bye to them knowing I may not see them for 6 weeks....(I will leave it at that or else this will become long and angry with resentment)

Gettin' excited for the weekend. I usually don't do the forth of July...For reasons perhaps obvious to some...but I am really looking forward to it. NOW all I need is a baby sitter. My sister is out...she wont be doing too good once the girls leave so she just didn't think she could. You know it's hard when you only have a couple people available to watch your kids. Next year I would feel OK to leave him by himself while we go out (I just wouldn't spend the night) BUT he is still a little needy and I don't quite trust him to take care of himself the way he should :) I am trying to cherish the next 12 months of preeness. :) I will figure out something with him. Even if I have to make Jerry ask his parents :) Cause I wanna get some drinkin' on :)

Family Reunion/And A Little Chaos

Let's start with the Chaos....Let's just say this....There was some crying...a little vomit...and lots of stress...Ahhhhh....I don't have the flu but both the twins have had it and vomited at my house on different days...and my sister has been pretty stressed out so I have been also. My grandmother get's here tomorrow and I have a disaster area for a house.....Jerry assures me it will all be fine so I am sticking with that.....

Family reunion at Swan Lake is always a busy time. Lots of people...Too much food....Kids running around begging to go swimming every five minutes...and many tales of Jerry and his single handed attempts to rid Swan Lake of Sharks....It was fun...but I need a nap....

So we are too tired to play guitar hero with Rick and Colleen...which sucks...but we hope to hear about how awesome it is... :)

It is supposed to be about 4 feet deep but the angle of our yard says it will be more like 3 at one end and 3 1/2 at the other LOL...anyway Zack got in today and said the water was great (Yeah right) he turned purple :) I give it a week or so of direct sunlight and it will warm up a lot...Oh wait...Direct.....Sunlight.....Hmmmmmmm.....Maybe the rain water will warm it up LOL....

So, I hope you all know if you want to go for a dip come on over.

Those Who Can't......Teach....

O.K. here's the thing......Back say 20 years ago....Yes Holy Shit 20 years ago I showed potential as a young guitar student. Picking up scales and riffs...Working my butt off because I wanted to rock like Jimi Hendrix and look like Lita Ford.......Shit happens right...Life happens....And well lets just say I never finished. Granted at least my new hair cut is cool.....BUT I still haven't really picked up the electric guitar and plugged it in and said YOU CAN DO THIS...REMEMBER??? Until today....Now I have been giving lessons....I have watched Jessie learn and pick up what I show her fast. I am impressed...and if I inspire her I hope she knows that she too inspires me to work harder and learn or should I say RE-learn things. Today was a good example of that...I will learn "Cowboys from Hell" if it kills me. I have to admit that 20 years ago the fingers were more agile and the wrist was a bit more flexible...but this old dog still has some new tricks left in her. AND I have a lot of hours this summer that I need to fill with something productive.

So...I will leave you with this....just because well......It's just funny as hell.....

Summer Vacation

I have not a friggin clue how this summer is going to go. It is off to a slow start since I woke up but minutes ago (9:00) I don't remember the last time I slept that late....(Last summer vacation)...I woke wanting more sleep and realizing that it was pouring down rain outside. I would have like to work on my garden. I have a project that I have been wanted to do and I have all the stuff I just haven't had the time to get it going. Plus the weeds are over taking stuff. I need to spend a couple hours cleaning up and mowing the grass. :)

Well my coffee is calling me and I need to wake up..... More later~

Pictures To Follow

We had Zack's Birthday Party on Saturday! It was a lot of fun. We had a good turnout. We invited 14 kids and 9 showed up. It had to have been one of the best Parties Zack has ever had. Some of the kids got a little rowdy. Zack is a lot like me in the fact that he has friends from all different clicks. I told Jerry that half these kids wouldn't even talk to each other in a couple of years. That is sad...but that is life I suppose. In that attempt to find yourself and define yourself...sometimes you miss out on some good friendships....OK enough philosophy LOL....Jerry was crazy! He wore a hula skirt and a shell bra it was too much. Oh the party was a luau and it came out awesome. We did the limbo, and some water balloon tossing....then all out water war. (That's when it got rowdy) BUT what a fun time. Jerry has to download his camera and give the pictures to me because the hula skirt was too much. !!! I think I simply need a good camera for myself. I don't take great pictures, but I need to be able to take good quality photos for my scrap books and my blogs LOL....

Well, I am off to care for my extremely sun burned child. That is a blog for another day :)

BBQ, FUN, AND BURNING STUFF

We had such a great time last night. Let me tell you Rick's new grill is pretty damn awesome and the chicken he made rocked. You know what else rocked was Colleens potato salad. I never liked potato salad, but she had made it for us a while back and I tried it and I LOVE HERS. It was good I ate two helpings. (Which according to the Wii I should have passed on since I am a tat bit over weight....BUT...not obese (in your face mom LOL)

After the yummy food we just had some plain good ole' fun watching the dogs attack each other and the kids run around hopped up on S'mores LOL...Rick and Kristie burned anything they could get their hands on in the fire pit.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JERRY!!

Today is Jerry's B-Day. It has been cool having him home the last 4 days. :) No one get mad at him for blogging and then stopping again.....His computer crashed because he was trying to help my boss and ended up getting a very catastrophic virus that wiped out almost everything. He is not happy about it. (She cringes) I know he wont be helping people out for me again LOL...... Anyway...You can wish him a happy birthday here until he get's up and running again!! :)

Am I really On Vacation?

I am 3 days into my 5 days off. And it seems that Everyday has been filled with a frantic phone call or email from my boss. Not to mention that Jerry spent the whole day Saturday trying to fix his computer. Ahhhhhhh. BUT....I am still having an awesome time.

On a different Note....Here is a really friggin funny comedian. The rest of his stuff is too political but this is Fall on the floor funny at some points.......For an English GUY :)
